How we bring absolute trust to academic credentials using Web3.
1. For Institutions: Joining the Network
ChainVerify is an exclusive, permissioned network. Not just anyone can issue a document. To become a verified issuer, an institution must apply and be manually vetted by our Master Admin.
Connect a Wallet: Institutions navigate to the Issuer Login and connect their official MetaMask wallet. This wallet acts as their digital signature.
Submit Application: They fill out their official details. Once submitted, the Master Admin reviews the real-world credentials and approves the wallet on the blockchain.
2. For Institutions: Issuing Certificates
Once approved, the institution gains access to the secure Vault. Here is how they turn a standard PDF into an undeniable cryptographic proof:
Zero-Knowledge Upload: The school selects the student's PDF. The file never leaves their computer. Instead, the browser calculates a unique cryptographic "hash" (a digital fingerprint) of the file.
Blockchain Anchoring: The school pays a small network gas fee to permanently engrave that hash into the Ethereum blockchain. The student receives a stamped PDF with a scannable QR code.
3. For Employers & Verifiers
Employers no longer need to call universities or wait weeks for background checks. Verification is instant and mathematically guaranteed.
Instant Verification: By dropping the PDF into our homepage or scanning the QR code, the system recalculates the fingerprint and checks the blockchain. If even a single pixel of the PDF was altered, the fingerprints won't match, and it will be flagged as fake.
